COMM 3013 History of Television and Film

This survey course guides students through the intersection between worldview, art, and money in mainstream movies from the invention of motion pictures and introduction of television to the present. The course offers insights into the historical development and cultural significance of television and film, providing students with a basic knowledge of landmark productions and influential filmmakers while equipping them to critically analyze the artistic and technical features of what they watch.
