CRJS 3233 Terrorism
An examination of terrorism and the response to this threat (i.e., counterterrorism). Students will explore broad themes and topics relevant to terrorist attacks, including the definition of terrorism, religious terrorism, domestic terrorism, terrorist motives, strategies and organizations, use of weapons of mass destruction, strategies for combating terrorism, intelligence collecting, and anti-terrorism awareness training.
