CYBR 1003 Introduction to Cyber Security
Introduces fundamental concepts in cybersecurity, including common attack methods and defense strategies. Examines social engineering techniques and technological vulnerabilities used by malicious actors. Develops practical skills for protecting systems, data, and personal privacy. Prerequisites: A declared Computer Science major.
This course is offered online through a consortium of accredited colleges and universities. Instruction is provided by faculty employed by partner institutions within the consortium, with technology and administrative support provided by Rize Education.
