FPLN 3103 Fundamentals of Financial Planning and Insurance Planning
An overview of financial planning as a profession. This course covers fundamental concepts and introduces the process for developing individualized financial plans for clients. The purpose of insurance as it relates to risk management and its strategic application will be reviewed with an emphasis on the interpretation of policies including, but not limited to, life, disability, personal property, and liability insurance. Prerequisite: 30 credit hours of coursework completed.
