FRSC 3114 Forensic Chemistry
This course introduces the application of chemical analysis to physical evidence using chemical tests and instrumentation. Students will become familiar with the following areas of forensic chemistry: controlled substance analysis, toxicology, and fire debris analysis. An emphasis will be placed on sample preparation, instrumental analysis, data quality, and data interpretation. Prerequisite: MATH 2203 and CHEM 2514. Additional laboratory fee required.
