HSER 1053 Survey of Human Servives
An overview of the Human Services field, examining its history, core principles, and career opportunities. Students will explore the various systems and agencies that support individuals and communities, including mental health services, child welfare, healthcare, and social work, as they develop a foundational understanding of how human services professionals assist diverse populations facing challenges such as poverty, addiction, and trauma.
