HSER 2073 Management in Human Services
This course introduces students to the principles and practices of effective management within human services organizations. Students will explore leadership, supervision, team development, communication, ethical decision-making, conflict resolution, strategic planning, resource management, and organizational effectiveness. Through practical scenarios and applied learning, students will examine how effective managers support employees, strengthen programs, navigate organizational challenges, and promote quality services for individuals, families, and communities. The course emphasizes the Christian principles of servant leadership, ethical stewardship, compassion, and respect for the dignity and worth of every person.
