PHED 3283 Methods of Teaching Major Sports I
Sports I deals with the correct methods of teaching the various skills involving stricking and catching, net games and wall games of sports that include but not limited to: pickle ball, tennis, badminton, topple, and voleyball. Rules, regulations, terminology, and pedagogical strategies will also be discussed as they relate to the concepts employed in the performance of these sports. The skills will be applied in written and oral lesson plan preparations. In addition, skill tests will be given to display an utilization level of competency. For PHED majors only in Lock 1.
