EDUC 3063 Secondary Strategies for Individuals with Disabilities
Course content includes a) theoretical models of transition services, b) specific procedural requirements of IDEA, state education agencies (SEAs) and local education agencies (LEAs) for developing individual education plans and transition plans, and c) research-based practices for teaching and supporting transition-age students in meeting the academic, social, and transition demands of postsecondary education, employment and independent living environment.
