EDUC 3742 Methods of Teaching Creative Arts in General and Special Education
This course integrates visual arts, music, and drama with other elementary curriculum content to help early childhood, elementary, and special education teachers create a balanced learning approach. It covers vocabulary and skills to enrich creative arts and considers children's artistic development. Planning through theme-based units and hands-on activities broadens awareness of the arts. Required for all early childhood, elementary, and special education teacher candidates. Prerequisite: Acceptance into Lock 1, GPA 2.75.
