PSYC 2123 Human Growth and Development
An exploration of the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of individuals across the lifespan from conception to late adulthood. Students will examine major developmental theories, including those of Piaget, Erikson, Vygotsky, and Freud while analyzing the biological and environmental factors that influence growth and behavior. Key topics include prenatal development, childhood and adolescent growth, adult life transitions, aging, and the impact of culture and society on development.
