NURS 4073 Nursing Evidence-Based Practice & Research
This course introduces the principles of evidence-based practice (EBP) and nursing research. Students will learn to critically appraise research studies, synthesize evidence, and translate findings into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes while utilizing intellectual humility and commitment to truth. Emphasis is placed on developing research questions, searching databases, evaluating the hierarchy of evidence, and understanding the role of research in advancing the nursing profession.
